Engaging with Key Stakeholders: Forestry England

Our stakeholder engagement team recently wrapped up a productive meeting with Forestry England’s Senior Leadership Team.

This marked the culmination of an extensive series of 22 workshops, involving over 100 Forestry England employees, all aimed at better understanding their needs for a treescape decision-support tool.

Our researchers had the privilege of presenting our project and treescape prototype to the Senior Leadership. During an engaging three-hour workshop Forestry England’s decision-making processes, priorities, and constraints were discussed. The results of the workshops will inform the design of a bespoke decision support tool tailored to their specific requirements.

The day included an insightful field visit to the beautiful New Forest, providing an invaluable opportunity to delve into the practical challenges of adopting a natural capital approach to woodland management.

We are thrilled to be collaborating closely with Forestry England, and we are confident that our collective efforts will lead to impactful solutions in managing our precious tree resources!
