Greenhouse Gas Public Event - NetZeroPlus Demonstrate Tree Planting Application

Net Zero Plus demonstrated their tree planting application at CO2RE‘s ‘Goodbye Greenhouse Gas’ event on 20 June.

Planned as an evening of immersive fun and learning on Greenhouse Gas Removal (GGR), the multi-format event was hosted at the Old Fire Station, a community arts centre in Oxford. Open to public, the event primarily invited students, activists, local Oxford residents, and anyone else who’s curious about climate change and its solution to learn about and engage with the wide array of methods we’re developing to capture and store atmospheric greenhouse gases and reach Net Zero.

Forming part of the interactive GGR-D showcase, members of the NetZeroPlus team walked attendees through the application we’ve developed as a decision-support tool for the UK government to assess different tree-planting policies across jurisdictions. Open to the public, the event primarily invited students, activists, local Oxford residents, and anyone else who’s curious about climate change and its solution to learn about and engage with the wide array of methods we’re developing to capture and store atmospheric greenhouse gases and reach Net Zero.
