NEVO’s primary purpose is to help explore, quantify and make predictions about the benefits that are derived from existing and altered land use across England and Wales. The tool brings together natural science and economic models, alongside spatial data. These combined sets of information provide the end-user with insights into the integrated relationships between climate change, land use change, ecosystem service flows and economic values. Users are able to view information relating to a range of ecosystem services and use it to support decision making in relation to land use change.
